The new generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire sedan will be launched in India on November 11. It will bring updated styling, new features and the same Z-series engine that powers the Swift. Speaking of which, there will be two powertrains to choose from after launch - the petrol version paired with a 5-speed MT or AMT, and the CNG version paired with an MT. The fuel consumption of the former is 24.79-25.71 kilometers/liter, while the fuel economy of the latter is 33.73 kilometers/kg, which is more fuel-efficient than the previous model. Both are claimed numbers. Under the hood, the new Dzire CNG will be powered by a 69bhp, 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with a factory-installed CNG kit.
