The TVS Apache RR 310 with updated winglets was tested.

The first spy shots of the updated TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycle have been revealed and it looks like the motorcycle will feature winglets (on the fairing) when it is launched in India. Apart from this, the upcoming Apache RR 310 is expected to be powered by the same 312cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as before, but with more power. The current TVS Apache RR 310 outputs 34bhp of power at 9,700rpm and produces 27.3Nm of peak torque at 7,600rpm, while the 312cc engine of the Apache RTR 310 is capable of producing 35bhp of power at 9,700rpm and 28.7Nm of torque at 6,650rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. However, the design of the new TVS Apache RR 310 is likely to remain largely unchanged.

In terms of features, the motorcycle is likely to get some upgrades such as cornering ABS, cornering traction control and wheelie control, and cruise control. The suspension setup is expected to include inverted front forks and a rear monoshock, while braking power should come from disc brakes.

Considering the above updates, the new TVS Apache RR 310 is expected to be priced slightly higher than the existing model, which is priced at Rs 2.72 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle is expected to be launched next year and will rival the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Aprilia RS 457.

TVS sold 2.89 lakh units last month, making it one of the top five best-selling two-wheeler brands in India. The company outperformed Bajaj Auto and Suzuki, which sold 2.08 lakh and 87,480 units respectively in August 2024. The same month, the upgraded Jupiter 110 was launched, the first comprehensive upgrade of the scooter since its launch in 2013.

Priced between Rs 73,700 and Rs 87,250 (ex-showroom), the 2024 Jupiter 110 features a new design, more features, and a larger 113.5cc single-cylinder engine with an integrated starter generator (ISG). Thanks to the ‘iGo Assist’ performance boost, the 2024 Jupiter 110 has more power and torque than the outgoing version.
