The upcoming Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS is expected to be powered by a 1,200cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine borrowed from the Thruxton. To enhance the sporty performance of the Speed Twin 1200 that was launched in India in August 2021, Triumph has teased the arrival of the new Speed Twin 1200 RS. While the existing Speed Twin 1200 already gets 43mm inverted Marzocchi forks (non-adjustable) and radially mounted Brembo M50 Monobloc calipers, the upcoming Speed Twin 1200 is likely to get fully adjustable gold Showa inverted forks at the front and Ohlins shock absorber at the rear. Unveiled globally in January 2024, the Triumph Daytona 660 is a fully-faired motorcycle based on the Trident 660 platform. While the Daytona 660 has the same 660cc inline-three engine as the Trident 660, it makes more power and torque - 94bhp at 11,250rpm and 69Nm at 8,250rpm, compared to the Trident 660's 80bhp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm at 6,250rpm. According to Triumph, more than 80 per cent of its 69Nm peak torque is available at 3,125rpm, resulting in responsive sporty handling and outright usable performance.
