TVS Motor Company’s October sales increased by 13% year-on-year;
TVS' overall sales in the festive month of October 2024 were 4.89 lakh units, a 13% increase from 4.35 lakh units in the previous year. This is an increase of 1.35% compared to the sales of 4,82,495 units in September this year. The company's two-wheeler market sales grew by 14%, with sales reaching 4.78 lakh units. Sales volume of 2W in the domestic market increased by 13% to 390,000 units. Looking at market segments, motorcycle sales in October 2024 were 230,000 units, compared with 202,000 units in the same period last year. This resulted in a year-on-year growth of 14%. Royal Enfield’s sales increased 31% year-on-year in 2017
In October 2024, Royal Enfield recorded its highest-ever monthly sales of over 1.10 lakh bikes, a 31% increase from 84,435 bikes in the previous year. Among them, domestic sales were 102,000 units and exports were 8,688 units, an increase of 26% and 150% respectively. In terms of year-to-date sales, Royal Enfield's domestic market sales in FY25 were 513,000 units, a slight increase of 3%. The total export volume was 52,624 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 21%. The company's overall supply in FY2025 was 565,000 units, compared to sales of 541,000 units in FY2024. This represents an increase of 4%. After its stunning debut at the 2024 EICMA in Milan, Italy, KTM is expected to launch the updated 390 Adventure in India on November 14. Mahindra announced that total sales in October 2024 were 96,648 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 20%. Passenger car sales increased 25% to 54,504 units from 43,708 units in October 2023. Overall SUV sales, including exports, reached 55,571 units. Mahindra sold 3,14,714 vehicles in FY25, up 22 per cent from 2,58,622 vehicles sold in the previous year. Shipments to the international market were 3,506 units, a year-on-year increase of 89%.
